Meet our Founder
Jill Rumachik, BA, CVT
Clinical Sonographer
Jill has been interested in diagnostic imaging her whole career, but became particularly interested in the utility of ultrasound after using it for many years for basic procedures (cystocentesis, pregnancy scans, etc). After over 40 hours of advanced training with SonoPath, the gold standard in veterinary ultrasound education and telemedicine, Jill's passion for imaging was firmly cemented. She now performs abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms; helping deliver valuable diagnoses and treatment plans to veterinary clinics in south central Wisconsin.
Jill is also a member of the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society and International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, as well as trained in Fear Free® protocols. Jill believes strongly in making imaging as comfortable and stress-free for patients as possible, and routinely recommends sedation for abdominal scans and procedures. Not only does this bring the animal great relief, it can profoundly enhance image sets. More about general sedation guidelines during scans can be found here.
For animals presenting with more advanced disease processes needing sedation, she frequently consults with Kristen Cooley, BA, CVT, VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia), VCC. You can find out more about Kristen here: https://www.clarity.vet/the-experts
